Exchange 2010 Service Pack 1 released

Exchange 2010 Service Pack 1 was released yesterday which encompasses all the fixes and tweaks from the roll-ups that have already been released.  In addition to this here are just some of the improvements:

  • Deployment – The installer now includes an option to install all required Windows roles and features
  • Exchange ActiveSync – It is now possible to manage Exchange ActiveSync devices using the Exchange Control Panel
  • Outlook Web App – There are 27 new themes available, users can reset passwords
  • Mailbox Search – Using the Exchange Control Panel with administrative privileges you can now search mailboxes
  • Certificates for Federation Services – Use a self-signed certificate by a Windows CA in your organisation
  • Imports and Exports – Use the MailboxExportRequest and MailboxImportRequest to easily import and export mailboxes using PST files
